Innovatively structured with approximately 1,000 welds, this wire-and-space creation, such as the Stool, offers a range of upholstery options, reflecting Platner's view that modernism can embrace the graceful, decorative essence reminiscent of historical styles like Louis XV. Finished in bright nickel with a protective lacquer, the metal components are accompanied by a clear plastic extrusion ring to safeguard floors.
