The story of ModernClassic began with a fervent passion for contemporary design that could be enjoyed by everyone. It was 2003, and the idea of buying furniture online was unfamiliar to most shoppers. Additionally, modern design was often reserved for the elite due to its hefty price tag. Despite these challenges, we were determined to bring our vision to life. We knew that pioneering this venture would require courage, dedication, and unwavering persistence. Nonetheless, we were confident that our mission was worth every obstacle and sleepless night.

Looking back, we had to be pioneers to succeed. At first, we focused on connecting customers with a service that was as passionate and knowledgeable about modern design as they were. We lived and breathed design.
Expansion
We began by providing exceptional customer service for a small selection of classic American furniture and lighting reproductions. Our approach gained quick popularity with customers and the media. As we achieved our initial goal, we set our sights on expanding our mission to offer a wider range of products and a more hands-on online experience. Our pioneering spirit led us to create innovative online tools, such as fully-interactive apps, that enabled customers to design custom furniture, bedding, and pillows in real-time with endless options.
