Hans J. Wegner's Wing Chair, designed in 1960, provides exceptional upper back, neck, and head support with its distinctive "wings." Its spacious seat allows for comfortable seating in various positions. Although Wegner created this design in 1960, it wasn't manufactured until 2006 when it made its debut at the IMM Cologne furniture fair, where it was recognized with a classic innovation award for its timeless appeal. With Wegner's background in cabinetry and architecture, he possessed a deep knowledge of materials and joinery, and his passion for creating chairs that offer exceptional comfort shines through in the Wing Chair's design.
