The product
The Classic Panton chair stands as Verner Panton's original creation, conceived for Vitra in 1967. Panton crafted this chair using a hard foam plastic shell (glass-reinforced plastic - GRP), displaying vibrant colors in a high-gloss lacquered finish. As a high-design item, the Classic Panton Chair is designed solely for indoor use. The "classic" version is fashioned from a limited production of high-gloss material.
Renowned for its distinctive shape, the Classic Panton Chair has garnered numerous international design accolades and found its place in the collections of several prestigious museums. Its expressive silhouette solidifies its status as an iconic piece of the twentieth century.
