Eileen Gray Side Table

Eileen Gray, a visionary designer, was intrigued by the idea of multifunctional furniture. In 1927, she conceived the E1027 Adjustable Table specifically for her residence in Roquebrune Cap Martin. This table was intended to serve various purposes—whether used over one's knees while seated, as an occasional side table, or even as a bedside table. The E1027 Adjustable Table, featuring a polished stainless steel tubular frame, has been a part of the permanent design collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York since 1977.
