The product
The DS 600 Sofa, also known as the "non-stop" sofa, was conceived by Ueli Berger in 1972 and named after the mythical alpine creature, the Tatzelwurm. This sectional sofa comprises narrow modular elements that can be expanded to create an array of shapes and formations, seemingly infinite in their potential. Its design allows for versatile combinations of elements, facilitating the creation of numerous compositions. Using the same module consistently permits the theoretical construction of the longest sofa globally. Its adaptability enables various configurations, including the iconic curve displayed, arc formations, straight lines, and an assortment of alternatives, offering an extensive spectrum of design possibilities adaptable to individual environmental needs.
